Secretary’s report
Firstly I would like to congratulate Domenic Greco on winning the Turf Technician of the year award. It was a long time coming but very well deserved.
Thanks also to Steve Ingram for his part in joining the committee and taking on the role of Vice President.
It was great to see the new members turn up for our A.G.M. namely Josh Dutton, Mathew Sherry and Daniel Scott – welcome.
During the meeting it was great to get some involvement and ideas from the members about the thought of an induction package, perhaps with more information about the association even before a new member attends their first meeting.

Once again we would like to thank Stephen Lelli and his team at Silvan Australia for allowing us to use their new and very impressive facility at Dandenong for our A.G.M and final meeting for the year. Going through such a facility showed us and emphasizes Silvans commitment to supplying a first class product with an extremely fast pack and deliver time. Being at Silvan also brought to mind how safety conscience we all need to be in our work places with a pre briefing of the facility i.e. rules and regulations, wearing of safety vests, walking in stipulated areas etc.
Finally I would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Christmas and New Year.
