President’s Report
· 13 people have registered for this years 24th Australian Turf Grass Conference and Trade Exhibition
· A sheet was passed around during the meeting to update email and mailing addresses.
· Sponsors will be charged at the new rate to run an advertisement in the VTETA Newsletter
· Membership fees will now to be paid by calendar year instead of the financial year.
Treasurer’s Report
· The association has $10500in the account
· $38 was spent since the last meeting
· The association has 48 financial members
Secretary’s Report
· Tony Hopcraft spoke on behalf of Greg Stringer
· Greg Stringer will take charge of the sponsorship advertising.
Business Arising
· At the last meeting, Lindsay Tomlinson was elected to help Organize the Turf Technicians Stream
· Lindsay Tomlinson has put together a pamphlet for the Technician’s stream at the 24th Australian Turf Conference and Trade Show, to inform Superintendents and Management of the importance of the conference for Turf Technicians to attend.
· Lindsay Tomlinson read out the Turf Technicians stream pamphlet for the upcoming turf Conference
· Several bus tours are in planning, awaiting conformation from the Navy on a visit to the Navy Docklands.
· Toro, John Deere and Jacbobsen was invited to host a small presentation, followed by question time together with Lindsay Tomlinson to present at the Turf Conference, only Toro has replied..
· For those members that only have one day to attend the Turf Conference, Lindsay recommends Tuesday 22nd Robert Rein Has planned a dinner after.
· There’s a Cocktail Dinner on Monday the 21st
· Early Bird Discount cut off Date for bookings to the Turf Conference is the 1st of May
· The BOC Welding training day has been filled but names will still be taken to see if there are enough numbers for a second day set for after the turf Conference
· All VTETA clothing is now being organised for members who have ordered it. It should be available for the conference.
· VTETA has a regular section in the Australian Turf grass magazine, for any member wishing to submit an article about anything relating to the turf industry, contact Tony, It will be appreciated.
· The VTETA banner is in the progress of being remade for Turf Conference
· For the Turf Conference it was put forward to have VTETA name Badges made for the Committee Members.

· Dress Code is to be adhered to when attending VTETA meetings held at Golf Club Venues.
